Please share your Disneyland Schuco Monorail layout pictures with me and others. Now that I have more space for my website, I can include more pictures! Please email me your pictures at Trainfool@aol.com. You do not have to have a big and fancy layout. I would like to see pictures of Schuco Disneyland Monorails around the world.

For Christmas 2010, let's all set up a track around a tree and then share the pictures of our monorails running on it! This can be a simple circle of track. I think it would be fun to see a Monorail Christmas from around the world!

You have to start somewhere! Why not in France on a table! Looks like the layout on page 17 in the Schuco manual! Thanks for sharing this picture and your wife for sharing the table!
Next, let's go to Germany. I believe you will really enjoy this Schuco Disneyland Monorail layout mixed with Schuco Varianto! A beautiful combination and very well done. The monorail track is four levels of figure eights. How many monorails can you spot? Click here to see more pictures.
Back to California where Greg takes his layout to display at several train shows. As far as I know, there are only 3 or 4 people displaying Schuco Disneyland monorails at various shows! Click here to see more pictures.
The Anaheim 2010 Great Train Expo was FANTASTIC!! Here's my buddy, Dave, explaining how this 8' x 5' layout works. It is basically one track with two monorails running at the same time. Most of the inside and outside loops are parallel. The switches keep the timing going. The nice thing about this layout is that you can run one or two trains without any adjustments to the automatic switching function. During the daily six hours of operation for two days, there was only one mishap and that was caused by a member of the crowd! I have included a couple of movies, but remember to hit your back arrow to return to the website! Click here to see pictures and movies!
The Schuco Disneyland monorails are often displayed with toys or Disneyland items, but I think we forget that you can also model realistic scenery with the monorails. Special thanks to an operator in Switzerland for these photos. After reposting this layout, the owner of this layout sent me several updated pictures! The quality is much better, and I know you will really enjoy this layout even more! Click here for more.
Here is the HO version of the original 1959 Tomorrowland track. This is at the 2003 TCA convention in Ontario, California. It really is not that hard of a layout to set up, and just like the original track, it is almost 1 mile long consisting of 52 curves, 22 straights, 4 half straights, and 4 half curves. Plenty of track to run two monorails, just like in 1959! Click here to see more pictures.
