| Here is the NMRA show at Rampart High School in Colorado Springs which was held in October. It is always fun to display the Schuco Disneyland Monorails. Most people have never seen these fantastic models from the 1960's. Kids really relate to them because most of them have experienced the monorails at Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Click here for more pictures! |

A lot of people always visit the Great Train Expo show in Denver. I had a 8 x 8 layout on display there. The layout, consisting of over one mile of scale track, featured several attractions from the Disneyland Resort. Kids and parents had the chance to push a button and start the Tea Cups spinning, Dumbo flying, or the AstroOrbitor soaring! This layout ran very successfully for two days and would allow either one or two trains to operate without any human intervention. Isn't the technology of the 1960's great??? Click here to see more pictures of Greg's layout. Below you will see the other layout that is in Belgium. I have seen a wonderful video on the internet that appears to be a traveling Schuco Disneyland monorail layout. If you have any information on this layout, please email me! |
